Error while updating Windows to 8.1

I'm trying to upgrate my notebook to 8.1. After reboot I get BSOD, reboot and message:

Sorry we couldn't complete the update to Windows 8.1.
We restored your previous version of Windows to this PC
0xC1900101 - 0x20017

But the main thing: I can't read what the BSOD says. And I already have my 'Auto restart after crash' option TURNED OFF. Also, this BSOD info isn't available to read when Windows starts, no log message in windows logs.

So, the question is: how can I stop auto restarting after BSOD while windows updating?
