Why I have to replug my mouse occasionally?

2

I've got two USB wired mouses (mice?): "Mad Catz R.A.T.7" and "Canyon CNL-MBMSO02". From time to time when I start my computer I find the latter mouse not working. But it starts working if I replug it. And it doesn't matter if I'm running Windows or Linux. Does anybody know what it has to do with?

UPD It was this way from the moment I bought the mouse.

UPD Even though I can't move the cursor, left and right buttons and the wheel are working.

UPD Well, today my mouse stopped working again. After I was unable to bring my computer back from sleep. Though, I highly doubt my mouse stops working every time this happens. Be that as it may, I've got these events in "Custom Views\Administrative Events" log starting from reboot:

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

The most suspicious events to me are the ones concerning printer. Because I've got no printer.
