Any Work-Arounds for the IBM DB2 ODBC exception 0xc0000005 in db2clio.dll?

I'm running MS Office 2016 64 bit and trying to connect to an IBM DB2 server to attach tables in MS Access 64 bit through 64 bit ODBC, but I keep running into this error - https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/exception-0xc0000005-db2cliodll

Is there a work-around for this?
