ImageResizer v3.1.1 no longer works in Windows 7 on iMac (VMware fusion running)

I am a big fan of Brice's ImageResizer, but when I installed the latest version (v3.1.1) in Windows 7 on iMac (VMware fusion running), I get this crash (it never launches):
