Error 0x80070570 - Files Deleted after Win10 Drive Error Checking - How to restore?

-1

4 video files I had on my external WD Drive were giving me the error code of "Error 0x80070570" when trying to copy/rename and they would not play either giving me a "Corrupt Data" error in VLC.

I was not trying to delete them - I am hoping to restore them, figuring Win10 would fix whatever was wrong with them.

After right-clicking the drive, going to Properties, and then the Tools tab and running the Error Checking (Chkdsk) built into Win10, it said it fixed errors, however the files are now gone.

In the Event Viewer, there are no comments in regards to these files.

Is there anyway now to restore these files as they aren't in my Recycling Bin and the Error Checking didn't create any folders after the fact as I've heard it does in Win7.
