KB4592438: "Bad Image" error on my DLL after Windows10 Update KB4592438

2

I've posted the following on the Microsoft Community Support Portal and Microsoft Windows Feedback Hub. So far no one has been able to help. Five or six other have reported the same issue with this Windows update. Any suggestions on how to get this resolved?

After KB4592438 is applied to our Window 10 laptops, we are no longer able to launch an IBM Distributed Debug tool. The error we see is the following:

cppym35i.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000005.

If we uninstall the update, the program works without any issue. Is there some way to troubleshoot this issue or is it perhaps a known issue?
