Error installing SQLServer 2016 on windows server 2016

I've been trying to install SQLServer 2016 on a Windows VM (Windows Server 2016), but continuously get below error: Error installing SQL Server 2008 Setup Support Files An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.ATL,version="8.0.50727.1833",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32"'. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? And what else I can try to fix it?
