Ubuntu image inaccessible

ive included an image of the problem im facing

while using my vm image a few hours ago it gave me a weird error i did not understand. i shutdown the machine and restarted my laptop, but I cannot access the image anymore.

when i choose the image i have no option to start it, it shows the below line

and it shows the following result code

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)

please help
