Can't get my virtual machine up and running with CentOs 7 on my Windows 10

0

I keep getting the following error when trying to start my virtual machine on my computer:

VMMR0_DO_NEM_INIT_VM failed: VERR_NEM_MISSING_KERNEL_API_2 (VERR_NEM_MISSING_KERNEL_API_2).
VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

Result Code:
E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component:
ConsoleWrap
Interface:
IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

I have tried so many different things and this issue still arises.

  • I enabled virtualization in the BIOS
  • I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Oracle VM Box 6.1.2 and Centos 7
  • Positive I configured my virtual machine the right way
  • I have tried checking, restarting, unchecking, and restarting again with Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor Platform

Every answer I have seen has still given me issues.

Also, the one time I got the virtual machine to run my mouse isn't being captured.

My laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 730-15" with an i5-8250 core. It's a 64-bit processor as well with 8 gb of RAM and 128 SSD.

Any and all help is welcomed.
