We recently ran Windows updates on a Windows Server 2016, which we have SSRS installed on. Before the updates, there were no known issues. After the updates, running the same reports cause issues. The reports being ran are very simple and do not return much data at all. The following error is always seen in the ReportServerService Log File:
library!ReportServer_0-2!2d18!05/29/2020-09:33:43:: i INFO: Call to GetItemTypeAction(/Reports/********/*****). User: *********. Unknown Exception raised by task.
The Web Portal log does not have any errors. The web page loading the report just spins and spins and spins. I have even gone as far as removing the dataset to the report and it still does not load.
Another wrinkle is that some users can access the same report. Some users have intermittent issues, where a refresh will allow them to render the report.
Any help is appreciated.
