Cannot Insert Null Error When Registering a new user Asp.Net

I followed the upvoted answer to this question, to change the Id type of AspNetUser table to int instead of string

Change User Id type to int in ASP.NET Identity in VS2015

However, when I try to register a new user, it returns an error:

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'Id', table 'dbo.AspNetUsers'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated.
