I'm trying to connect to a Sql Server database with a .Net Core server application running under Linux. According to the error, the connection is successful, but an error occurs during the "Pre-login handshake". This is not he result of a delay, I get the error immediately. Most of the research I've done refers to solving this problem by upgrading to .Net core runtime on the Linux box to version 2.1.2. We are using that version already, we also have later versions. It doesn't work no matter what version we use.
Connection String: Data Source=10.100.10.13,389;Initial Catalog=NAV-PROD;User ID=BatchRunner;Password=MyPassword;Trusted_Connection=False;Connection Timeout=15;
Versions: SQL Server 2014
Dev Studio: 2017
Dev environment .Net Core 2.1
Server Runtime .Net Core 2.1.8
