QtCreator doesn't open on Mac

Problem:

I need to install Qt Creator for my university course on my mac and it doesn't open. I've tried reinstalling different versions a lot of times but it gives me a Segmentation Fault everytime. Everything else is updated to the latest Version and i don't know what to try anymore. Any tips and solutions would be appreciated.
