I am using ASP.NET Core 3, .NET Core 3.0.100, Visual Studio 2019 Community. I follow this guide https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/release-notes/aspnetcore-3.0?view=aspnetcore-3.0#health-checks
In Startup.cs
, I add endpoints.MapHealthChecks("/health");
public void Configure(IApplicationBuilder app, IWebHostEnvironment env)
{
if (env.IsDevelopment())
{
app.UseDeveloperExceptionPage();
app.UseDatabaseErrorPage();
}
else
{
app.UseExceptionHandler("/Error");
// The default HSTS value is 30 days. You may want to change this for production scenarios, see https://aka.ms/aspnetcore-hsts.
app.UseHsts();
}
app.UseHttpsRedirection();
app.UseStaticFiles();
app.UseRouting();
app.UseAuthentication();
app.UseAuthorization();
app.UseEndpoints(endpoints =>
{
endpoints.MapControllers();
endpoints.MapRazorPages();
endpoints.MapBlazorHub();
endpoints.MapFallbackToPage("/_Host");
endpoints.MapHealthChecks("/health");
});
}
}
}
Error
System.InvalidOperationException
HResult=0x80131509
Message=Unable to find the required services. Please add all the required services by calling 'IServiceCollection.AddHealthChecks' inside the call to 'ConfigureServices(...)' in the application startup code.

How to fix it?
The exception message clearly indicates that your should invoke services.AddHealthChecks()
inside ConfigureServices(IServiceCollection services)
Please add all the required services by calling 'IServiceCollection.AddHealthChecks' inside the call to 'ConfigureServices(...)' in the application startup code.
void ConfigureServices(IServiceCollection services) {
//...
services.AddHealthChecks();
//...
}
