Timeout error is displayed on uploading code to TI cc2650

Timeout error is displayed on flashing cc2650, performed the following steps:

  1. Mass erased the cc2650 module and put it in bootloader mode.
  2. Connected the cc2650 mote with ubuntu machine
  3. Compiled the client example for the target using the following command: make TARGET=srf06-cc26xx BOARD=launchpad/cc2650 savetarget
  4. Tried to flash the cc2650 module with the following command:
sudo make BOARD=launchpad/cc2650 PORT=/dev/ttyACM0 hello-world.upload

"ERROR: Timeout waiting for ACK/NACK after 'Get Status (0x23)'" error message is displayed:
