Android app differences between old and new Android versions

I have an 1 year old app built with Android Studio. Now after installing all Android Studio updates, refactoring and migrating the app to Android X, pictures stooped to show in Android 7.1.1, 8, 9. But in Android 6 the app is working like it should.
