When I try to run mongod then I found an error that is, program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing

Currently I am using Window 8.1. I have updated Windows also to remove this problem, but still it stands.

I have also downloaded these dll files and also reinstall Visual C++ 2015 (x64), but still I cannot start mongod.

Also when installing visual c++ 2015, I also found an error Which is this.

0x80240017 - Unspecified error

So what can I do next?

Is there is only way to reinstall Windows, and if I reinstall windows then will it work?

Any suggestions will be gently appreciated.
