Hyper V replication failing : System cannot find the path

0

I've recently upgraded my hyper v replica server to 2019. It was on 2012 r2 and i performed an in-place upgrade. On three of my biggest VM's i'm failing to enable replication again.

I have successfully enabled replication on 5 vm's, but on the remaining i am getting these errors:

  • Replication operation for virtual machine 'SVR1' failed. (Virtual machine ID 313DD89B-9870-4DAD-AFFC-6683E87C4855) (Primary server: 'MP-HV01.micropathology.com', Replica server: 'MyDrSvr')
  • Hyper-V suspended replication for virtual machine 'SVR1' due to a non-recoverable failure. Resume replication after correcting the failure. (Virtual machine ID XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-6683E87C4855)
  • Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'SVR1': The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003). (Virtual machine ID XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-6683E87C4855)

The servers are replicating to a local drive and I've removed and re-added the hyper v roll and also check all paths within Hyper V settings are valid. I've also removed replication and tried all three of the initial replication options and each of them gets to various points before so far before throwing the errors.

Any ideas as to what the issue could be / what else I can try.
