We recently upgraded a Dell 3060 computer to the latest version of Windows 10 (build 2004) and after doing so, many times throughout the day the user is unable to access the mapped drives. We get this error when trying to browse to the server:
If we restart the workstation service, we can then immediately get back in or if we restart the computer we can log back in. We also found that when the issues happens, if we log into the computer as another user, we get the same error when trying to browse to the server. This computer is part of a domain and the server is Server 2012 R2 Standard. Any ideas on what would be causing this? We did upgrade another computer in the office to Windows 10 2004 but that computer has not had any issues and that computer is a Dell 3050.
Also, the mapped drives are mapped using the name of the server in the UNC path. We did try mapping them via IP address and it worked for a little bit but then stopped working and we got the same error when trying to browse the server via IP. We can always ping the server without any issues both by IP and server name.
